FellowshipLogofullcolorshadow07292024

The Ohio Child Protective Services (CPS) Fellowship Program recruits students pursuing degrees in the Social Work and related fields (Sociology, Psychology, Human Development/Family Studies, Criminal Justice/Criminology, and other family studies degrees). The Fellowship Program offers students in their final semesters a hands-on experience in the CPS career fields. Students accepted into the Fellowship will be hired as county employees to work in a CPS unit and learn law, rule, and best practices for at risk children and families. Students will shadow investigation and ongoing units and be trained in assessing safety, working with community partners, Juvenile Court, case planning, reunification, and much much more!

Social Work majors may have additional eligibility requirements for this program.
